In memorium

We are very sad to report the recent deaths of two of our longstanding members.

Gordon Holloway will be remembered for his friendly demeanour and willingness to help new members.  He moved away two years ago to be nearer to his daughter and we received news of his passing recently.

Terry Smith lost his battle with Parkinsons in June.  As Chairman of Notley Green Carpet Bowls club Terry was responsible for obtaining funding for new carpets several years ago.  Although he hadn’t bowled at the club for several years he is fondly remembered by his fellow bowlers.
